UPDATED: Week in Review: 9-15 October

With my busy schedule, I am just getting the chance to sit down and write about the events the Royal Family has been attending this week. Early in the week, the Royal Court announced that the King had a slipped disk in his back/neck and had been advised to take the week to rest. This meant that a variety of events that he was supposed to attend this week were postponed, including some that he was supposed to attend with other members of the Royal Family. We look forward to those events being rescheduled!

On Monday, the King and Queen alongside the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel welcomed Margot Wallström, foreign minister, to the palace for a meeting about the foreign policy agenda. Prince Daniel and Crown Princess Victoria also met with their board of the Crown Princess Couple's Foundation.

Afterwards, Victoria joined Princess Sofia and the Queen for the Global Child Forum annual Business and Knowledge Partner Day at the Palace. The Queen gave the keynote address and highlighted that we are all World Citizens therefore we must look out for the interest of the children of the world.

On Saturday, Victoria and Daniel attended the celebration of Investors AB's 100 Year Anniversary. This celebration was held at the Grand Hotel in Stockholm. Originally the King and Queen were supposed to attend alongside the Crown Princess and Prince Daniel, but because of the King's herniated disk, they pulled out.

For her meetings on Monday, Victoria wore a new blue blouse (unidentified) and a new Kreuger Jewellery necklace. On Tuesday, she wore a pink By Malene Birger blouse paired with By Malina pants and Mayla jacket. Princess Sofia wore her Maje jacket, with what appear to be new pearl earrings.

For this event, Crown princess Victoria wore her black Hunkydory Loa top, a new Alice + Olivia skirt (which I LOVE), carried her Alexander McQueen clutch, and wore black hoop Ebba Brahe earrings. Her jacket comes from By Malina.
