Well it is that time of year again- as Christmas approaches, the family attends their last big event of their year before privately celebrating the Queen's Birthday and Christmas. This evening the entire family attended the annual Formal Meeting of the Swedish Academy in Stockholm. This event always brings out some beautiful gowns and jewels from all of the ladies! I do not have any full length photos to share- just screenshots from the arrival video shared by Expressen. You can head over to their website to see full length photos.
Victoria arrived looking lovely in a black gown from H&M (first seen in 2014). I thought it was a little strange that she paired the gown with blue accessories but with all the camera flashes upon arrival- the dress had a blue tint to it. She carried her blue velvet Alexander McQueen clutch, navy blue Roger Vivier heels, and stayed warm in her new black and blue faux fur coat from Filippa K. She wore a diamond necklace and pearl earrings from the Bernadotte Jewel Vaults and in her hair she wore a hair accessory in the shape of a flower. This accessory has been seen before but never was identified.
Princess Sofia arrived wearing a new purple gown and matching purple shoes. (Neither have been identified) She stayed warm by wearing her Morris faux fur coat and carried her Diane von Furstenburg clutch. She wore a pair of earrings featuring pave diamonds and precious stones which she first wore to the Idrottsgalan in 2015- I believe they are Ebba Brahe and have contacted them for confirmation.
And last but not least- Princess Madeleine arrived wearing a new gown from Self Portrait. She wore her By Malina fur jacket over it to stay warm and carried a new clutch from Marchesa. She wore black pumps (not sure on the brand) and her earrings were custom made for her back in 2012 from La Campanina Capri Jewelry.
