Christening Wrap-Up

We finally have a day to do our Christening wrap-up! We have been desiring to post this since Sunday, but the royals keep attending events without much notice to us so our post has been continually pushed back. Today it appears that we finally have a break in the Swedish Royal Ladies so let's begin our Christening (Fashion) Wrap-Up. (Please note we are certainly not complaining about seeing the royals!)

Let's start with the Hellqvist Family! Marie wore a light pink dress from Style by Mingel. This dress looked beautiful on her with a matching pink floral accessory in her hair.

Next up are the Hellqvist sister- Godmother to Alexander, Lina (Hellqvist) Frejd wore a dark blue dress from Oasis with a pair of shoes from Zign. For earrings she wore a pair of tassel earrings which look a lot like Oscar de la Renta. Many have pointed out that Victoria has worn tassel earrings from Oscar de la Renta and suggested that Lina borrowed them from her. I however think this is unlikely mostly because Victoria's are silver and Lina's are more of a white color. It is more likely (besides for owning them herself) that if she borrowed them from anyone, it would have been Madeleine.

Sofia's other sister, Sara Hellqvist, wore a dress from Phase Eight. (Side Note: I wish more royals would wear Phase Eight- they have some amazing dresses) She carried a corresponding clutch from Unisa.

Sofia's goddaughter, Tiara Larsson,  arrived alongside Carl Philip and Sofia (and Madeleine's) secretary Anita Söderlind. Tiara wore a dress from Hugo Boss which you may recognize Sofia wearing at the King's 70th Birthday Te Deum. (Do you think Sofia loaned it to her?) She carried a By Malene Birger clutch. Anita wore a dress from Dagmar.

Frida Vesterberg, Sofia's Co-Founder of Project Playground, arrived at the christening also wearing a dress from Hugo Boss. She arrived alongside Sofia's friend Caroline Phil. Caroline and Sofia founded Drop of Mindfulness, an athletic wear company while living in New York. Caroline wore a dress from LK Bennett. She paired it with Valentino shoes and a Proenza Schouler clutch.

Carl Philip and Sofia personal friend, Estelle Boden arrived wearing a Roksanda dress and matching Gianvito Rossi shoes. Madeleine Rahm Egnell (not pictured), Sofia's friend, arrived carrying a Chanel bag and Therese Högfeldt (pictured) carried a Diane von Fustenberg clutch.

Sandrine Kockum, arrived with her husband Claes, wearing a Hugo Boss dress. She wore Nicholas Kirkwood shoes and carried a Dior clutch.

Finally, Nathalie Forslund wore a Karen Millen dress with under a blue tweed Veronica Virta Blazer. I thought this was a strange combination to wear- an elegant dress with a more business type of jacket but nevertheless she managed to pull it off.

HUGE shoutout to Heaven for finding all of these! Didn't she do an amazing job?!
