If this schedule was not busy enough, Victoria also handed out the ALMA (Astrid Lindgren Memorial Award) this evening to the German illustrator and picture book author, Wolf Erlbruch. Victoria has been a longtime champion of literacy and Astrid Lindgren is actually one of her favorite authors. She has been handing out this award for more years than I can count so it was nice to see her doing it once again this evening.

Now- to the clothes. For the private arrival dinner, Victoria wore her Baum und Pferdgarten blue Mavis blouse. Mary wore a new dress from the brand March 11 (Thanks Heaven!).

For most of today's engagements, Victoria her Baum und Pferdgarten Bonny Blazer, Nonie Trousers, and Mattea Blouse. She accessorized with her red Rizzo Porza Crossbody and Azelia Pumps which complemented her blouse very nicely! She kept her jewelry simple and with a nod to her guests by selecting her Luna necklace and earrings from the Danish brand Dulong Fine Jewelery- favorite brand of Mary.

Finally this evening, Victoria changed into a new ensemble.  UPDATE: We have just confirmed that is a custom piece from the Swedish designer Jennifer Blom. Their Press Department told us:

The Crown Princess Victoria wore a custom-made handmade outfit by Swedish Designer Jennifer Blom. The skirt is a pleated silk skirt in the pattern Swan Lake, that Jennifer Blom showed at Stockholm Fashion Week in August 2016 were she presented her spring collection for 2017. The blouse, also handmade, in silk, is in the same pattern, swan lake.

She paired it with a new pair of Caroline Svedbom Larissa Crystal Earrings (thanks @swedish_royals), her blue Bottega Veneta knot clutch, and tan Gianvito Rossi pumps. Mary is wearing an old Dolce & Gabbana lace dress.

Well that is a mouthful! We will be back in just a few hours to cover day 2 so stay tuned!
