UPDATED:Polar Music Prize 2017

Today the Stockholm Based Royal Family attended the Polar Music Prize! (If you want to look back at last years outfits, click here for our full recap!) The Polar Music Prize was founded in 1989 by Stig "Stikkan" Anderson- the publisher, manager, and lyricist of ABBA. The award is one of the most prestigious awards in music as it is given to individuals, bands, and institutions and is awarded to a musicians in a variety of genres from around the world. The King has been presenting the award for many years. Previous winners have included Yo-Yo Ma, Led Zeppelin, Joni Mitchell, and Elton John- to name a few. This year, the prize was awarded to Sting and Wayne Shorter.

Crown Princess Victoria surprised us all by wearing her hair down this evening- Victoria has been photographed once with her hair down since the 2012 Polar Music Prize. Let's just say the Royal Fandom is going a little crazy with excitement and joy! She wore an old pair of Yves Saint Laurent Sandals and carried her Oasis clutch. (Same clutch that the Duchess of Cambridge has used in the past). Her bracelet comes from Cornilia Webb and rings from Kreuger Jewellery.  Her gown is a new creation by Diana Orving custommade just for the Crown Princess. Her earrings are also new and come from Engelbert Stockholm and are their twist earrings with diamonds.

Princess Madeleine joined her family at the Prize Ceremony for the first time. She has previously only attended the banquet.

This year she wore a new gown (or top and skirt as we suspect) is from the Swedish Designer Ida Sjöstedt. She paired it with a new pair of earrings, new Marchesa Sandals, and a Bottega Veneta Clutch. Her earrings are new but unfortunately no one has claimed them and we have not been able to find them.

Queen Silvia was also there leading the family into the ceremony on the arm of the King.

She wore a gown from Alexis first seen in Indonesia.

I loved seen Princess Christina there, seems to be that she is feeling well after her Stem Cell Transplant! And as always thanks to Heaven and Laura for their speeding findings!
