This evening, Crown Princess Victoria attended the annual Holocaust Memorial Day at the Great Synagogue in Stockholm. Attendance at services for Holocaust Memorial Day are an annual tradition for the family, something we have seen the King, Queen, Crown Princess, Prince Daniel, Princess Sofia- all attend at some point in the past.
The service featured speeches from survivor Piotr Zettinger, as well speeches from lecturers and authors from around the world. Israeli ambassador Ilan Ben Dov also spoke. The speeches were complimented by poetry readings and music from Melissa Horn. Last year the event had so many people in attendance that this year they had to institute a ticket system due to safety/overcapacity concerns from the Fire Marshall.
This service was held in collaboration with FFÖ (Association of the Holocaust Survivors in Sweden), Forum for Living History, Jewish Museum, SKMA and Folkets Hus & Parker.
Tomorrow the Crown Princess will attend a seminar also in conjunction with Holocaust Memorial Day. But for tonight’s service, the Crown Princess wore a matching skirt and jacket from By Malene Birger. She paired it with her Peter Pilotto blouse. She wore her black Gianvito Rossi boots first seen in December, Hunkydory clutch, and a pair of earrings and bracelet from Dulong Fine Jewellery. I also spotted her Ebba Brahe x Childhood Eyes Wide Open Bracelet and Engelbert Knot Bracelet on her wrist.
