Visit to Norrbottens Regement I 19 and Dinner at Haga
Today, (January 23) Crown Princess Victoria visited with the Army Hunter’s Battalion And Armed Forces’ Winter Unit- both which are apart of Norbotten’s Regiment I 19.
This winter unit has many different tasks, however one particularly unique task they are assigned is that they are responsible for educating Swedish Associations (and foreign defense forces) on how to work in winter climates with cold, wind and snow.
While visiting, the Crown Princess was able to meet soldiers who are underwing going basic education with the Army Hunters Battalion and received a review of the battalion’s tasks and activities. She also got see an model observation site and winter camp as well as trying out some of the hunts battalion’s equipment such as snowshoes and scooters.
Today it was also revealed that last evening (January 22), Crown Princess Victoria Prince Daniel held a dinner at Haga Palace for experts in Civil Society and Business.
These entrepreneurs joined together for dinner to share their experiences and discuss integration, inclusion, and diversity.
Also in attendance at this dinner was Princess Christina’s husband Tord Magnuson, who had a large part in selecting the guests.
For this dinner, Crown Princess Victoria wore a new silk top from Rodebjer and a skirt from Baum und Pferdgarten. She wore Ebba Brahe earrings, and her Carl Edmond watch could be seen peeking out under her sleeve. She wore black pumps, which due to the quality of photos it was too difficult to narrow down which of her numerous black heels she was wearing.
