Crown Princess Couple Visits Stora Enso Innovation Center

Today Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel visited Stora Enso Innovation Center in Sickla to learn more about Stora Enso's business and the new products they are offering from the forest. The main focus for the visit is sustainability and innovations.

The visit started with a presentation about Stora Enso by the Country Manager in Sweden, the Director of Communications, and the Division Head. Following this presentation, they couple were given a demonstration of new products and a tour of some of the laboratories located at the Innovation Center before departing.

Stora Enso is a manufacturer of pulp, paper and other forest products, headquartered in Helsinki, Finland- but has locations globally. Stora Enso's innovation centre in Sickla was inaugurated in 2015 and has over 80 people from more than 20 different countries working at the innovation center. The purpose of the business is to develop renewable products and materials that can replace fossil and other non-renewable materials. Stora Enso believes that everything that’s made with fossil materials today can be made from a tree tomorrow.

Crown Princess Victoria wore her Maruschka de Margo jacket with a new black shirt. She also wore her AF Klingberg ankle boots and Valentino blue bag with her favorite bracelets : the Ebba Brahe 3 Stars Bracelet, Eyes Wide Open Bracelet, Bridge Bracelet and her Sophie by Sophie heart bracelet. Her pearl earrings and pearl necklace are by Kreuger.
