BRIS + Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia Foundation's Collaboration

BRIS + Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia Foundation's Collaboration

Over the past week, we have seen lots of meetings, photos, and news pop up about the collaboration between BRIS and the Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia Foundation. BRIS (Children’s Rights in Society) is a partner with the Prince Couple’s Foundation which focuses on minimizing bullying due to dyslexia and cyberbullying. You might recall Princess Sofia visited BRIS earlier this month, but that was only the start of their collaboration.

On 12 February, the Prince Couple announced on their Instagram that the collaboration between the two had resulted in a book for parents. This book is a guide to help parents to talk to their kids about what they do online and start conversations between adults and children about online safety.

“In the book, kids and teens share their own stories and thoughts about what happens online, along with tips and advice from experts and counselors. Teaching you what kids do online and why they think it’s great. But also the things that are not so great, things that can be tough and difficult – and how you as a parent can help.”

The book was sent out to all households in Sweden with children under the age of 10 and is available online in both Swedish and English.

Then on 15 February Princess Sofia joined the General Secretary of BRIS for a radio interview at P4 Extra about the book.

Today the couple joined again with BRIS General Secretary Magnus Jägerskog to answer some questions asked on Instagram earlier this week about parenting and their book. This can be see in the Instagram Stories on the Prince Couple’s Instagram page.

For the photo shared as the announcement of the book, Princess Sofia wore a headband from Lindex and new gold sweater. For the radio interview, she wore a sweater from Soft Goat (a brand which supports Project Playground), and for the Instagram Interview, she wore a sweater from Hobbs.
