Tonight, Crown Princess Victoria attended the Parasport Gala in Stockholm.
Crown Princess Victoria has been a huge supporter of Parasports in Sweden (and abroad) for many years. The Kronprinsessan Victorias Fond (Crown Princess Victoria Fund) in particular was started in 1997 and aims to enable children and young people with disabilities and/or chronic illness to have an active leisure time. This is also something that her parents, the King and Queen, are quite passionate about and is what their joint foundation focuses on as well.
The Parasports Gala recognizes the accomplishments of various individuals who have participated or made contributions to Parasports in Sweden. Below is the list of the categories and their respective winners, who we send along a huge congratulations.
