Crown Princess Victoria Celebrates her Name Day at the Palace
Today Crown Princess Victoria was joined by her family for the celebration of her nameday in the palace courtyard in Stockholm.
Since the 1990’s, Crown Princess Victoria’s Name Day has been celebrated by the Armed Forces. As the Crown Princess has celebrated her birthday in July in Öland, her name day marks her official celebrations in Stockholm.
The occasion was marked with a musical arrangement by the Music Corps with the Livgardet from South Scania Regiment. Musical pieces included Kronprinsessan Victorias festmarsch which was written by retired Army Music Director Mats Janhagen and premiered at the Name Day celebrations in 1995.
After the musical performances, the Crown Princess Family walked around and greeted those who had congregated in the inner courtyard to offer congratulations on the occasion.
For this occasion, Crown Princess Victoria debuted a new maroon jacket over By Malina maroon trousers and maroon boots (from 2017). She wore her gold diamond hoop earrings and Carl Edmond watch. Princess Estelle wore her pink coat from Bonpoint first seen last December for the Seminar for the Queen and new Pom D’Api boots. Prince Oscar wore his Aletta Coat, Hestra Mittens, and Ugg Ager Boots (Thanks Christine!). Prince Daniel could be seen wearing his Rolex Watch (to read more about the Royal Family’s watch collection- be sure to check out our feature post!)
