A Night Supporting Dyslexia Research
This evening, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia attended an art auction alongside Marianne Bernadotte benefiting Dyslexia Research.
The proceeds from the auction went to Prince Carl Philips & Princess Sofia Foundation and to Sigvard and Marianne Bernadotte's Research Foundation. Marianne Bernadotte has worked tirelessly for the past 40 years for dyslexia research. She is the honorary chairman of both the Swedish Dyslexia Society as well as the American Dyslexia Association and the International Rodin Academy. The Prince Couple’s foundation aims to raise awareness about dyslexia and therefore limit the bullying from dyslexia.
The auction featured over 20 different pieces of art, items, and experiences all which had been donated in benefit of aiding further research of reading and writing disabilities. Hosted at the Banks Hotel in Stockholm the auction was organized by CF Hill. During the evening, Prince Carl Philip gave a speech and Petter (Hip Hop Artist) and Carolina Wallin Perez performed.
For this evening out, Princess Sofia wore a new dress from ByTiMo (available in July 2019) which she paired with her silver Charlotte Olympia Monroe Pumps and silver Puccini Quilted Clutch Bag. She wore her Engelbert Stockholm Petit Signs (for her children) with a new pair of earrings form Ole Lynggaard.
Marianne Bernadote was dressed in Balmain with Cartier jewelry and Bolinder Stockholm Dinner Ivory Bag.
