Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs at the Palace
This morning, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria held the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
The Advisory Council is chaired by the King and is a joint meeting between the Government and Riksdag (Parliament). The committee consists of 19 members, the Prime Minister and 9 members of Riksdag and 9 Deputies.
These meetings are held in the Lovisa Ulrikas Room at the Royal Palace and the members are elected by the Riksdag for each term of office. The Government is obliged to keep the council informed of significant foreign policy conditions and to discuss with it prior to decisions of major importance.
The Crown Princess attends these meetings to stay informed as future head of state.
For this meeting, Crown Princess Victoria selected to wear her matching Baum und Pferdgarten printed skirt set which she paired with blue Quidam Clutch, Ebba Brahe Earrings, and Carl Edmond watch. She appeared to wear low black pumps as well.
