Crown Princess Couple Celebrate Alingsås 400th Year Anniversary
Today, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel were in their duchy of Västergotland to celebrate Alingsås’ 400th year anniversary.
They arrived at the Kom Loss fair in Nolhagahallen. Next, the Crown Princess couple visited Nolhaga park where they planted a tree next to the tree King Carl Gustaf planted 25 years ago at Alingsås’ 375th-anniversary celebrations.
Then, they took part in the grand anniversary luncheon hosted at the Grand Hotel. The Crown Princess also opened the new Järtas park. To conclude the visit, Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel attended the anniversary concert where Victoria made a speech at 16:19 which was a symbolic gesture as the town was created in 1619. As the Crown Princess said in her speech, Alingsås was one of the cities the Crown Princess couple visited during their tour of Västergotland as newlyweds.
Victoria wore a new peony printed blouse and matching skirt by Swedish designer Ida Sjöstedt. She paired the outfit with new Stinaa. J ankle boots, her old UFO clutch, her Epoch watch, and old earrings.
