Crown Princess Couple travel to Ho Chi Minh City
The Crown Princess Couple, joined by Swedish Minister of Foreign Trade Ann Linde, are currently undertaking an official trip to Vietnam. This trip coincides with the 50th year anniversary of the diplomatic relationship between Sweden and Vietnam. During the trip they plan to highlight the Swedish Business Community in the country in addition to the UN’s sustainability goals within Agenda 2030. The major focal point of the trip will be their attendance at the Sweden-Vietnam Business Summit in Hanoi on the second day alongside a large Swedish business delegation (nearly 100 company representatives).
The final day of the 3 day tour began very early for the Crown Princess Couple. They visited Ly Thai Two Square and Hoan Kiem Lake where residents of Hanoi perform morning activities. These morning exercises include a mix of gymnastics, yoga, sword exercises, dance and tai chi. The couple, who are big advocates for people getting up and moving- with their foundation GenPep, joined right in with the exercises. Crown Princess Victoria revealed while she is not a “morning person” when you have young children you have to become one- but she also doesn’t like to “sleep the day away”.
Following their morning exercises, they couple visited the Temple of Jade Mountain and the wooden bridge Welcoming Morning Sunlight Bridge, before returning to the hotel for breakfast before hoping on a plane to travel to Ho Chi Minh City. While they traveled to the new city, the government team stayed in Hanoi to participate in ministerial and business meetings, before they met back up with the couple later in the day.
Upon arrival in Ho Chi Minh City, the Crown Princess couple took a boat trip on the Saigon River. During this trip, they received information about how the city works with supply, planning, pollution and plastic in water. They were also able to meet with representatives from the city and local organizations who play a part in these environmental efforts.
For the final leg of the day, and therefore trip, the couple was joined again by the state council and Team Sweden. They started their joint afternoon engagements, by meeting with young Vietnamese Entrepreneurs before meeting with the city’s mayor Mr. Nguyen Thanh Phong. The party then walked to the Hotel Rex to conclude the visit with a dinner hosted by the mayor in their honor.
For her first outfit of the day, Crown Princess Victoria wore a new blouse from Marville Road and trousers from By Malina. She kept it casual in new Adidas sneakers. She kept her accessories minimal wearing Dulong stud earrings, her Carl Edmond watch, Dulong Diamond Bracelet, and her usual gargle of bracelets.
Trading in the blouse and trousers from the morning exercises, Crown Princess Victoria changed into a new top and blouse from Rodebjer. She paired this with her Rizzo Elvira Sandals, Hippi Grace bag debuted yesterday, and Gucci Sunglasses. She kept the same jewelry on from the morning.
For her final outfit of the trip, Crown Princess Victoria wore a new custom made dress from Jennifer Blom. She paired this with her blue By Malene Birger pumps, Bottege Veneta Blue Silk Clutch, Kreuger Feather Earrings, and her same collection of bracelets from the rest of the day.
