The Good Talents conducts training programs and workshops in leadership and entrepreneurship for young talent, and mentor and coaching courses for companies. Their programs are based on various modules that can be implemented individually, or as a coherent program. They offer weekend programs where participants gain knowledge and tools to be able to implement a societal change idea.

Upon arrival, the Crown Princess Couple was greeted by cofounders Sandra Kinnaman Nordström and Gayathri Rathinavelu who began The Good Talents in 2012 when they noticed that there was a need to strengthen young people and give them tools to drive positive change processes in their lives and in society. Since 2012, The Good Talents has expanded to be in both Botkyrka and Nacka.

The Good Talents runs leadership and social entrepreneurial programs in areas where there is enormous untapped potential - while unemployment is high. The participants create their own project and business ideas that solve local challenges. The idea of competition is a big part of the vision of The Good Talents which enables the participants to dive deep into their ideas and flesh out their ideas. During their Ideas Competition the participants are guided by 30 coaches and experts from business, civil society and the public sector, who support their idea development process. Each team of participants is also offered a mentor to support them.

In addition to their Ideas Competition, Weekend Courses, and Mentor Programs- The Good Talents also offers 20 summer jobs where young people can receive coaching and support to develop and implement their idea over the course of several summer weeks. These four programs are apart of the organization’s one-year development program.

During the visit, the Crown Princess couple met and talked to eight young people who had attended the one-year development program. They talked about their backgrounds, what they do today and how The Good Talent developed them. The Good Talent is another organization that the Crown Princess Couple’s Foundation supports.
