Crown Princess mixes Swedish and Italian designers for IOC Voting Day
It’s voting day at the IOC, within the next few hours we will know where the 2026 Winter Olympics will be taking place.
The Crown Princess Couple arrived in Lausanne, Switzerland yesterday and continue their brief visit today. They arrived at the Olympic Headquarters this morning ahead of the Swedish Press Conference. On their way in, Crown Princess Victoria spoke to reporters saying she was nervous, but extremely excited about the vote.
Later today, IOC will elect in a final vote the host city for the 2026 Winter Olympics. The two remaining host cities in the election process are Stockholm-Åre, Sweden, and Milan–Cortina d'Ampezzo, Italy.
Unfortunately for Sweden, they did not receive the Olympics. In the evening, the delegation gathered for a dinner together before heading back home.
For this important day, Crown Princess Victoria mixed Swedish and Italian designers. Debuting the Olivia top from the Swedish brand Marville Road and a new skirt from Italian Red Valentino- she looked pretty in light blue. She picked out some of her favorite accessories- her 10 year old YSL sandals (seen over 20 times!), Kreuger Jewellery Summer Feather Earrings, and carried her blue Valentino Rockstud bag. On her wrists her Carl Edmond watch, Sophie by Sophie and Ebba Brahe bracelets could be seen.
