Crown Princess Victoria joins SeaBOS in Norway
On May 14th and 15th, Crown Princess Victoria was in Bergen,Norway for meetings in connection to SeaBOS.
During the two days, representatives from the world's ten largest fish and shellfish companies and experts in the field participated in dialogues pertaining to sustainability in relationship to the fishing industry. The meetings in Bergen discussed issues such as IUU Fishing (Illegal, Unreported, Unregulated), plastic in the ocean, antibiotic use and planning for future Keystone Dialogues, which will take place during the autumn.
To date there have been 3 Keystone Dialogues; Soneva, Japan, and Stockholm where fishing industry leaders have gathered to discuss create a joint statement on a ten-point action program for sustainable management of the ocean. Since the initial meeting, the companies have gathered for further dialogue to discuss their mission of improving transparency and traceability in their operations and to reduce IUU fishing in their supply chains.
For these meetings, Crown Princess Victoria wore her Tuva Cord Suit from House of Dagmar with her Gianvito Rossi Booties. Peaking out under a sleeve you could see her Carl Edmond Granit watch. For the boat trip, the Crown Princess selected to wear her Tretorn From the Sea Raincoat.
