Crown Princess Victoria Supports Sustainable Development in Athens
Today, 2 May, Crown Princess Victoria was in Athens, Greece to attend a seminar cohosted by Stockholm University, Temes, and the Academy of Athens.
She began the day with a trip to the Museum of Ancient Agora in Athens. This museum is housed in the rebuilt Stoa of Atallos with the purpose of storing the artifacts unearthed in the Agora excavations.
Later the Crown Princess attended the 4 hour seminar organized by the Environmental Observatory Navarino Environmental Observatory (new) and the embassy of Sweden in Athens on the subject, "Challenges and opportunities for a new economy in the Promoting innovation for sustainable development". She was joined by the Greek President Mr. Prokopios Pavlopoulos for this seminar.
Following the seminar, the Crown Princess was observed to be “Simple, friendly and smiling” as she attended the little reception given in the garden of the Academy of Athens. She was said to not spoil any shot for photographers, and talked with everyone who approached her to greet her and talk with her. The Crown Princess is one of the UN's Agenda 2030 ambassadors and has a focus on water and sea issues- which is why the Royal Court shared that she decided to attend this seminar in particular.
For this day she wore a new custom made skirt from H&M. This skirt comes from the 2019 Conscious Collection made of organic linen and silk. While the skirt was custom-made- H&M has a dress available in the same print and similar voluminous silhouette. She paired this skirt with an old white blouse, which ironically was seen only one other time for an event discussing Sustainable Development in 2014. For the beginning of the day the Crown Princess wore her Gucci Sunglasses and Adidas x Stella McCartney Sneakers but later changed into a favorite pair of blue suede pumps from Saint Laurent in addition to adding her Valentino Rockstud Bag in Black. She accessorized with old diamond hoop earrings, Ebba Brahe Bridge Bracelet, Ebba Brahe x Childhood Eyes Wide Open Bracelet, Sophie by Sophie Heart Bracelet, and Carl Edmond Watch.
