King and Crown Princess Host the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs
Today, King Carl XVI Gustaf and Crown Princess Victoria hosted the Advisory Council on Foreign Affairs at the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
The Advisory Council is chaired by the King and is a joint meeting between the Government and Riksdag (Parliament). The committee consists of 19 members, the Prime Minister and 9 members of Riksdag and 9 Deputies.
These meetings are held in the Lovisa Ulrikas Room at the Royal Palace and the members are elected by the Riksdag for each term of office. The Government is obliged to keep the council informed of significant foreign policy conditions and to discuss with it prior to decisions of major importance. This is the 3rd meeting of the Advisory Council this year.
For this meeting, Crown Princess Victoria wore a new dress from Rodebjer which she paired with her Hippi Grace 3-in-1 bag, Rizzo pumps, Maria Nilsdotter feather earrings, Dulong Necklace, and her normal stack of silver bracelets. She also wore and long pendant necklace and her Love Script Cuff first seen at the Polar Music Prize last year- but no designer has claimed it.
