Princess Madeleine visits Maskrosbarn
On Tuesday, June 18th, Princess Madeleine visited Maskrobarn in Stockholm.
Maskrosbarn is a children's rights organization which works to improve the living conditions of support children and young people with parents suffering from addiction or mental illness. The organization, founded in 2005, is supported by World Childhood Foundation, aims to help young people become more resilient and to reduce the feeling of isolation and disgrace and instead offer positive life experiences and a feeling of belonging.
World Childhood Foundation has supported their summer camps for the past 6 years. In addition to offering summer programing, Maskrosbarn organizes events on Friday evenings as well as Christmas and autumn-break camps. Maskrosbarn was also supported by the Crown Princess Couple’s Foundation from 2012-2014 and the couple visited their office in 2013.
For this casual visit, Princess Madeleine opted to wear a House of Dagmar dress. This marks the first time that the Princess has worn Dagmar and it is nice to see her supporting Swedish Design during her official work. She paired this with one of her favorite pairs of Valentino sandals. Due to the minimal amount of photos, it is difficult to see what jewelry she wore- however we did spot a new bag being carried around.
