Princess Sofia joins Partners for Change
On May 10th, Princess Sofia was at Fotografiska, in Stockholm, for the 2nd annual Partnering for Change event.
With more and more people looking to “Do Good” in society and Agenda 2030 giving us a roadmap of what needs to be done, we need to bring these changemakers together to make a dent in the work to be done. Partnering for Change brings together “doers and thinkers from different sectors to discuss how to work together to solve pressing social issues”.
The gathering last year helped doers and thinkers discuss how to work together to solve pressing social issues – and to earn the trust in co-workers, customers and society. This year the speakers focused on looking at what is holding us back – and how to overcome the barriers in our missions to make change in society.
During the day, speakers discussed “Where is the money for the most needed innovations?” and “How do we break the bubble to create true innovation?”. Attendees were pressed to think about where they were investing their money- are they supporting disruptive ideas or the most pressing issues. Speakers included managers of big corporations, such as Danske Bank Group, investors (like Cristina Stenbeck), and tech entrepreneurs (such as Sahar Kupersmidt of Nordic DTH TV).
Partnering for Change is a product of Reach for Change. Reach for Change aims to “find and support local early stage social entrepreneurs who work towards one or more of the sustainable development goals set up by the UN. “ They support the entrepreneurs through the entire process of their innovation with capacity building, networking, and funding. Since its creation in 2010, Reach for Change has supported entrepreneurs in 18 countries across three continents.
For this event, Princess Sofia wore her blue Hugo Boss Sweater with black Stinaa.J pumps. She accessorized with her Rolex Watch and hoop earrings.
