State Visit Closes with a Concert
Today was the final day of the South Korean State Visit to Sweden. This state visit was organized in order to celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
This morning the President of South Korea and the King visited the Northern Lights Foundation together with the Minister of Energy and Digitalization Anders Ygeman. While they men were there, the Queen and the President’s wife visited Prince Eugens Waldemarsudde for a guided tour of the old house and gardens. The women then visited the Svensk Form at Skeppsholmen to attend the awards ceremony for the Korea Sweden Young Design Award .
Later in the afternoon, the King and Queen, the President and Foreign Minister Margot Wallström attended the unveiling of a memorial at Djurgården for Swedish veterans who served at the Red Cross Hospital during the Korean War.
Following this, the Presidential Couple hosted a concert at Musikaliska featuring Japanese artistry. There were Taekwondo demonstrations, traditional music, and a K-Pop group among the list of performers.
For this concert, Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Carl Philip, and Princess Sofia joined the festivities which marked the final event of this state visit.
At the close of the The Swedish Royals then waved goodbye to their guests as they departed the Royal Palace in Stockholm.
For this evening concert, Crown Princess Victoria wore her custom made dress from Jennifer Blom which she first debuted during her visit to Vietnam last month. She paired this with her Kreuger Jewellery Summer Feather earrings. She appeared to wear a pair of light colored pumps with the look, but due to limited photos it is hard to say which pair they were.
Princess Sofia looked classy in her purple Prada Pleated Dress which she paired with a new nude clutch from Susan Szatmary. You could see her Ole Lynggaard Circus bracelet glittering in the photos shared by the Royal Court.
