Whole Family turns out for State Visit from South Korea
Today, the 2-day State Visit to Sweden from South Korea began. This state visit was organized in order to celebrate 60 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
The state visit began with a grand welcome of grandeur through the streets of Stockholm. The King and Queen greeted the visiting President Moon Jae-in and his wife Kim Jung-sook at the Royal Mews in Stockholm before traveling to the Royal Palace. At the Royal Palace they were greeted by Crown Princess Victoria, Prince Daniel, Prince Carl Philip and Princess Sofia who joined for a gift exchanging reception.
For this reception, Crown Princess Victoria showcased Swedish Design by selecting a dress from By Malina which she paired with matching Rizzo Pumps (another Swedish Design). She opted to keep her jewelry simple with diamond stud earrings and silver bracelets from her favorite brands Sophie by Sophie and Ebba Brahe. On her right wrist she wore a watch from budget friendly brand, Carl Edmond.
Princess Sofia also opted to showcase Swedish design by selecting a dress from designer Valerie Aflalo. She paired this with a new blue clutch, blue Manolo Blahnik pumps, and her Ebba Brahe Blue Sapphire Feather Earrings. On her wrist her Ole Lynggaard Circus Bracelet could be seen.
The Royal Couple and Presidential Couple then departed the palace after a brief press conference. The ladies went to Silviahemmet while the men visited Ericsson Studio before continuing on to the Sweden-Korea Business Summit. The couples were later joined up for a Gala Dinner which the King hosted at the Palace in connection to their visit.
The King walked with the President showcasing the collar of Grand Order of Mugunghwa. This order is given for “outstanding meritorious services in the interest of promoting the development and security of the Republic of Korea” which he received in 2012.
Next up was the Queen who walked in with the President’s wife. For this occasion, the Queen selected a new gown from Georg et Arend which she paired with a blue pair of Manolo Blahnik Hangisi Satin Pumps. She corresponded her jewels accordingly by selecting the Leuchtenberg Sapphire Tiara and the large brooch from this parure.
Following the Queen was Crown Princess Victoria and Prince Daniel both wearing the order of Diplomatic Service Merit from South Korea in the highest grade.
For this occasion, the Crown Princess selected an old Jenny Packham gown from the closet which she paired with her gold Gianvito Rossi pumps and Elie Saab metallic clutch. She selected the Baden Fringe Tiara with the top part of the Brazilian Parure Earrings.
